Leicester Life in the UK Test Centre

PSI Leicester
60 Charles Street, 5th Floor,
Leicester,

Car

The testing site in Leicester is in the 60 Charles Street building, which is on Charles Street, on the eastern edge of the city centre. Additionally, the M1 highway goes just west of the city. The A5460 and A46 are routes that connect to the city heart of Leicester.

Parking

There are a lot of nearby parking lots that are close to the test centre.

The 60 Charles Street spot is only 150 m to the southeast of the Rutland Car Park, which charges £2.95 an hour to park. Please remember that this facility accepts all forms of payment and has spaces for people who need them. If you want something a little less expensive, you might want to check out Queen Street Car Park. It will only cost you £1.40 for a two-hour parking ticket, which is more than enough time to get to the exam site, take the test, and get back to your car. This spot is about 150 metres east of Rutland Car Park and about 300 metres from the test centre.

The appropriate Parkopedia page, which can be found here, has more neighbourhood parking choices.

Bus

Several bus lines stop near Haymarket Bus Station, which is about 500 metres north of 60 Charles Street. If you want to use the local bus system in Leicester, you should either go straight to Haymarket station or one of the bus stops on Charles Street. On the other hand, getting off at Humberstone Grove would make the trip to the test centre shorter.

If you want to plan your own trip, click on this page and scroll down until you see “bus lines.”

Train

Leicester Train Station is only 650m southeast of Charles Street and serves trains from all over the country. If you are walking from the train to the test site, take the A594 and Charles Street to get to the venue. You will be going north through the eastern edges of the city centre. From the bus stop on Station Street, which is right next to the train station, the X3 Sapphire bus goes to Charles Street. If you use this service instead of walking, your trip will be shorter by a few minutes.

Go to the East Midlands Railway website to see live departure and arrival times, as well as details on station facilities and how to get there.

Call the Life in the UK Test Helpline at 0800 015 4245 if you need help with your reservation. They are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm.
