Car

Maidstone’s testing facility is located in Kestrel House, on Knightrider Court, approximately south of Maidstone town centre. The M20 motorway runs close north of town, but there are strong connections via the A249, A229, and A20. Please be advised that, while the Kestrel House building is located on Knightrider Court, its formal address is Knightrider Street. Knightrider Court is close to Knightrider Street.

Parking

There is plenty of on-site parking at the test centre, so you are unlikely to need the services of a local car park. If this is necessary, please visit the corresponding Parkopedia page to find alternate parking choices.

Bus

Numerous bus lines pass near the test site. If you use Maidstone’s local bus network, we recommend that you aim to arrive at one of the following stops:

Lower Stone Street, College Avenue, or Crompton Gardens. All of these locations are within a six-minute walk of Kestrel House. It’s also worth mentioning that Maidstone Bus Station is only 500 metres north of the test venue.

Train

Maidstone has multiple train stations, with Maidstone West being the nearest to Knightrider Court. The station is about a km west of the site, however there are no adequate connecting bus services to help you get there. As a result, if you take the train, you’ll have to walk (or take a taxi) the rest of the way.

To get to Kestrel House from the station, walk east via Hart Street and Barker Road before crossing the River Medway. Continue east on Old College Horseway, merging onto Knightrider Street and heading towards the exam venue on Knightrider Court. This journey should take approximately ten minutes to complete.

Please visit the South Eastern Railway website for live departure and arrival times, station facilities, and accessibility information.
