PSI Manchester
Boulton House, 6th Floor,
17-21 Chorlton Street
Manchester,

Car

The testing facility in Manchester is Boulton House on Chorlton Street, which is on the outskirts of the city to the southeast. Because of its vastness, Manchester can be reached from any direction via a number of major thoroughfares. The M60 Ring Road, which connects to many routes leading into the city centre, is frequently associated with them.

Vehicle Parking

Nearby Major Street does have restricted on-street parking, so it’s wise to come prepared with a plan B. Thirteen Bloom Street Car Park, which is conveniently situated behind Boulton House, could be this. You can get to the testing location, take the exam, and get back to your car for only £4.50 for a two-hour parking charge. You can pay at this location with cash or through the ‘PayByPhone’ service line.

The test centre is across the street from Chorlton Street Multi-Storey, although there is a £3.45 per hour parking fee. Consequently, 13 Bloom Street is the more economical choice, since this location is just metres from the parking garage above.

Bus

Given its prime location, it’s no surprise that Boulton House is conveniently located near several bus routes. If you want to take use of Manchester’s wide local bus network, we recommend that you aim to arrive at one of these stops:

Any of the following streets: Chinatown, Dickinson, Major, or Hart. You can reach all of these places on foot from the testing centre in just a few minutes.

Tram

You can get throughout Manchester and even Greater Manchester on foot thanks to the city’s extensive tram network. St. Peter’s Square, some 650 metres west of Boulton House, is the nearest tram station. The Blue, Purple, and Navy lines all stop here, so keep that in mind. Leaving St. Peter’s Square, take a left onto Portland Street and continue south on Oxford Street to reach the testing site. After going for around 350 metres to the east, turn right onto Chorlton Street and head towards the venue.

Train

The biggest station in the city and a vital hub for UK travel is Manchester Piccadilly. Not only that, but it’s located about 500 metres east of Boulton House, making it the nearest station to the test site. After you get out of the station, head left on London Road and then right at the intersection with Fairfield Street. Proceed onto the venue by continuing westward as Fairfield Street becomes Chorlton Street.

Northern Rail’s website has real-time departure and arrival schedules, information on station amenities, and details about accessibility.
