Sefton House,
Adam Court,

Car

The testing site is in Sefton House, which is part of the Adam Court building and is just off of Newark Road on the eastern edge of Peterborough. The A1(M) highway goes just west of Peterborough, and the A47 is a good way to get to the town from there.

Bus

In order to get the most out of Peterborough’s public bus system, you should try to get off at either the Vicarage Farm Road or Saracen Way stops. You can walk to both of these places from Sefton House in five minutes.

Train

There is a long way to go to get to the test site from Peterborough Train Station, which is about 4.5 km west of the town centre. It would take you about 45 minutes to walk this road, so we recommend that you find another way to get there. Unfortunately, even if you take a connecting bus between the station and the event, you will still have to walk a long way between stops and buildings. It follows that if you are taking the train, the only practical way to get to Sefton House is by cab.

Parking

There are a good number of parking spots on-site, both in front of Sefton House and near buildings that are next door. If this parking lot is full, which is very rare, there aren’t any other parking lots nearby that are close enough to walk to. Also, please keep in mind that parking is not available on the weekends.

The relevant Parkopedia page can be found here. If you’re okay with a long walk or bus ride to the test place from where you parked your car, then please go there.

The Life in the UK Test Helpline is available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. Call 0800 015 4245 if you need assistance with your booking.
