Reading’s testing facility is situated in Greyfriars House on Greyfriars Road, just north of the town centre. Please keep in mind that you must enter the ‘Highline’ building to gain access to the Life in the UK testing location, which is actually located on adjacent Garrard Street. Greyfriars House is located immediately off the A329, which merges into the A33 heading towards the M4 motorway. This is the primary route into Reading town centre.
Multiple operating bus routes pass near to the venue. If you take advantage of Reading’s local bus network, please aim to arrive at one of the following stops:
Greyfriars Road, West Street, or Cheapside. All of these locations are within a five-minute walk of Greyfriars House.

Reading has multiple train stations, the largest of which is conveniently located near the test site. Reading Train Station, as previously indicated in the parking instructions, is around 300 metres from the site. While on-street parking is limited on Greyfriars Street, availability on the day of the examination cannot be guaranteed. As a result, we recommend planning for alternative parking arrangements.
Reading Train Station Car Park is conveniently located little over 300m north of Greyfriars House and charges £4.00 per hour. To pay at this location, you’ll need cash or access to the APOCOA customer service line. This facility allows for disabled parking. To get to the test venue, exit the car lot and turn right onto Belgrave Street, then continue west. Turn right on Garrard Street from Station Road and head west to the test centre.
