Swansea Life in the UK Test Centre

PSI at Computeraid Swansea
11 – 12 Wind Street, 4th Floor,
Swansea,
Wales,
SA1 1DP

Car

Swansea’s testing facility is located on Wind Street in the city centre. Many different roads lead into the heart of Swansea, thanks to the M4 highway that runs through the northern part of the city. The most direct route to the test location is the A4083, so try to take that if you can.

Bus

The venue’s central location means that there are plenty of bus routes that stop close. Please try to get to one of the following bus stops in Swansea if you intend to use a service within the city’s local bus network:

St. Mary’s Church, Castle Square, or Sainsbury’s (you can get off at either the “Swansea” or “St. Thomas” store). The testing facility is conveniently located near all of these stations.

Train

About 650 metres distant from the testing site is Swansea Train Station, which is located on the city’s northern suburbs. Please note that the station to Wind Street bus stop does not have any suitable connecting services; consequently, you will need to walk the remaining distance to the exam centre. Just take the B4489 south and look for the venue on your left when you get there. The entire trip should take no more than eight minutes.

Visit the Great Western Railway website for up-to-the-minute departure and arrival times, station amenities, and accessible details.

Car Parking

Near Wind Street, you’ll find a plethora of convenient parking options. The Strand’s two-hour parking ticket is only £2.40, which, considering the car park’s location, gives you more than enough time to go to the venue, take the exam, and get back to your car. The exam centre is about 150 metres away, and you can get there quickly by following Green Dragon Lane.

Although it’s about the same distance away, the City Gates parking lot is slightly more expensive. An hourly rate of £1.75 is applicable for parking. To get to the test location, go north on Little Wind Street, then turn left into Wind Street (B4489) at the end of the road. Then, continue westward until you reach the test site.
